Legionary Promise

In spite of the Covid pandemic, on the 21st of November, Our Lady of Lavang Praesidium hosted a Legionary Promise ceremony to our Blessed Mother. Sr. Tam Nguyen, the President welcomed everybody -- Sr. Josee Wan-Kam from the Legion of Mary Regia of Ottawa, 8 active and 32 auxiliary members and their families. Before mass, the Legion of Mary Tessera and the rosary were prayed in Vietnamese. Then, Father Anthony Nguyen, the Spiritual Director, celebrated mass and led the members to make their promise to our Blessed Mother. Sr. Tamon, on behalf of the Praesidium thanked Fr. Anthony for his support, Sr. Wan-Kam for her visiting, and the parishioners for their prayers. Sr. Josee Wan-Kam in her speech encouraged everybody to say the Rosary daily. It was a beautiful ceremony.

Bất chấp đại dịch Covid, vào ngày 21 tháng 11, Đơn vị Đức Mẹ Lavang đă tổ chức một buổi Tuyên Hứa cho Đức Mẹ. Chị Tâm, Hội trưởng đã tiếp đón mọi người, chị Josee Wan-Kam từ Legion of Mary Regia của Ottawa,8 thành viên hoạt động và 32 thành viên tán trợ cùng với gia đình của họ. Mở đầu, Kinh Legio Mariae Tessera với chuỗi Mân Côi được đọc bằng tiếng Việt. Tiếp đến, Cha Anthony Nguyễn, cha Linh Hướng, đă cử hành Thánh lễ và thực hiện nghi thức Tuyên hứa cho các thành viên. Cuối cùng, chị Tâm, thay mặt cho Praesidium cám ơn Cha Anthony vì sự hỗ trợ của ông, Chị Wan-kam đã thăm viếng, và các giáo dân vì những lời cầu nguyện của họ. Và Chị Wan-kam trong bài phát biểu đã khuyến khích tất cả mọi người lần hạt Mân Côi hằng ngày. Buổi lễ thật trang trọng và sốt sắng.
